| This writing table was
designed in the French Country style. Sensual curves are typical of the French Provincial style and the entire front of this desk has an alluring serpentine curve. |

Crafted from American Black Cherry this desk was stained to match the decor in a room. |

Within the upper section are three drawers. On either side of the curved drawers, concealed behind carved shells, are pull-out pencil drawers. |
| Incised carving is used to ornament the drawer fronts. This pattern is a grape and vine that compliments the serpentine front of the desk. |  |

The front legs are cabriole. French Provincial,
frequently called french Country, originated in rural France while the more
elaborate Rococo was the style dominant in the large cities. The cabriole curve continues to the floor and the shell at the top is a simple adornment that sets this piece apart. |
